Hiking and mountain tours
From the leisurely alpine pasture walk to the summit tour up the Serles: Maria Waldrast, the Blaser with its famous abundance of flowers and the Wipptal mountain pastures are reachable without a long drive. Those who want to go higher use the mountain railways in the Stubaital as an ascent aid.
Biking and mountain lakes
The Wipptal is a rewarding mountain bike region between valley and main Alpine ridge. After the tour, a dip in Lake Obernberg – one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol – or in the outdoor pool in Stubai or Sterzing is worthwhile.
Families and adventure
Summer toboggan runs, adventure trails and climbing parks make a summer holiday varied for children too. The Serlesbahnen in Mieders and the family mountains of the area are ideal destinations for any weather.
