The Stubai Glacier is Tyrol’s largest glacier ski area and open around 10 months of the year. From mid-October to May everything revolves around snow; from July to September the glacier becomes a hiking and climbing area. From the Stoacherhof it is about 45 minutes by car.

Snow-sure almost year-round
The pistes reach above 3,200 m – snow reliability from autumn well into late spring. Perfect for a spontaneous day of skiing, even when the valley is already turning green.
Summer on the glacier
In summer, glacier hikes, via ferratas and the “Eisgrat” with its panorama restaurant beckon. Families appreciate the easy access to the high-alpine zone via the Eisgratbahn.
Getting there and parking
Via the A13 to the Schönberg exit, then the Stubaitalstraße (B183) to Mutterberg. There are free car parks right at the valley station of the Eisgratbahn.
